This four and one half day course will provide an up-to-date review of the pathology of selected subspecialty areas of neoplastic disease, including Breast, Gynecological and Head and Neck pathology. Appropriate use of advanced diagnostic techniques such as immunohistochemistry and molecular pathology will be incorporated into the lectures, including the assessment of therapeutic biomarkers. Case presentations will also be integrated into some sessions. Finally, there will be optional more intimate, interactive slide seminar sessions on selected topics in Breast, Gynecological and Head and Neck pathology (registration is limited, additional fees apply).
The Department of Pathology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center has produced a course on the Surgical Pathology of Neoplastic Diseases for over 30 years. With the 36th edition, we continue to expand the scope of the course to reflect the increasing contributions of cytopathology, immunopathology, and molecular pathology. The course faculty will include the attending pathology staff from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center along with selected visiting lecturers.
