Overview

This two-day, live virtual symposium will provide advanced practice providers from MSK’s Alliance institutions, as well as those practicing from other centers, an overview of advances in cancer treatment and management, current evidence based practice and research initiatives, inequities, and wellness in the oncology population, as well as trends in APP practice and professional development engagement. The symposium aims to provide the tools healthcare professionals need to deliver state-of-the-art collaborative team care, improve patient outcomes, and enhance the quality of life in patients with cancer. Each session will include didactic lectures and inter-professional panels.

We’re excited to offer for the first time as part of this well-rounded oncology symposium, a 5-hour pediatric breakout session to address the learning needs of healthcare professionals practicing in this specialty.

Who Should Attend

The target audience for this course includes nurse practitioners, physician assistants, certified registered nurse anesthetists, physicians, and nurses who care for oncology patients. We are pleased to offer complimentary registration for residents, fellows, APP students, and nursing students.

The Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Alliance is designed to share MSK’s standards of care and clinical trials with community healthcare leaders, all with a mission to improve quality cancer care for patients. This program is presented in collaboration with the MSK Cancer Alliance. This program is presented in collaboration with the MSK Cancer Alliance and includes faculty from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer CenterHartford HealthCare Cancer Institute, and Miami Cancer Institute: Baptist Health South FloridaRegistration is open to healthcare professionals both within the MSK Cancer Alliance as well as those practicing from other centers.
