By utilizing emerging scientific and clinical evidence, experts will provide updated approaches to the diagnosis, management and treatment of common gastrointestinal and liver conditions aimed to improve the care of female patients.

Objectives

  4. Examine the presentation, diagnosis, and management of pancreaticobiliary diseases that are common in women.
  5. Evaluate the medical and surgical management of obesity in women.
  6. Explain how to be an influential female leader in medicine.
  7. Interpret the effects of menopause on the GI tract.
