Purpose Statement

The 26th Annual Duke Radiology Overview features forty experts discussing the most pertinent topics for today’s practicing radiologist. A wide range of subspecialty areas are covered, with special focus placed on the newest radiologic advances and procedures. Subjects include abdominal, pediatric, neuro, cardiothoracic, musculoskeletal, interventional and women’s imaging, as well as nuclear medicine. Thoughtful analysis and best techniques for MR, CT, Ultrasound and PET are explained, with emphasis on everyday application for optimal results

Educational Objectives

After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

1. Identify and discuss the latest modalities and techniques being used in the field of Diagnostic Radiology

2. Discuss differential diagnoses of common disease processes as they are seen on radiologic images

3. Demonstrate compliance with various governing agencies to sustain accreditation, licensing and board certification requirements
